Inbound BrewCo is proud to stand alongside breweries across the country as we brew our own 15bbl batch of Resilience Butte County Proud IPA.
Resilience IPA is a beer fundraising effort spearheaded by Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chico, California. The brewery is making Resilience IPA, a specialty release, and donating 100% of profits to their Camp Fire Relief Fund. The Camp Fire Relief Fund supports victims of the devastating Camp Fire in California. Sierra Nevada will distribute all donated money to partner organizations that are dedicated to rebuilding and supporting the communities that have been affected. Sierra Nevada invited breweries across the country to join them in their fundraising efforts.
In his letter inviting breweries to join Sierra Nevada in the brewing effort, Ken Grossman, founder of Sierra Nevada, said:
As you may know, on November 8, the Camp Fire broke out near the town of Paradise, California, and within minutes raged through the community, obliterating a football field per second of everything in its path, destroying nearly 10,000 homes, killing many residents and leveling the town of 27,000 people.
The fire is still raging on, but it is already the most destructive wildfire in our state’s history. Although Chico and the Sierra Nevada brewery were spared, the Camp Fire has devastated neighboring communities where many of our employees lived.
The scope of the disaster is hard to fathom, but we have been flooded with offers of help from all over the country. We are humbled and proud of how the community has stepped up and by the many offers of support from others in the brewing industry.
Grossman invited every brewery in the country to join in brewing Resilience IPA and to donate 100% of the beer’s profits. We are brewing Resilience IPA on December 6, 2018 after receiving shipments of the specialty ingredients. BSG Malt, Country Bitters Hop Farm, and St. Croix Valley Hops all donated their product so we could give even more money to the Camp Fire Relief Fund.
Thanks to Sierra Nevada, our suppliers, and our brewhouse staff, when we release Resilience IPA in our North Loop, Minneapolis taproom, 100% of profits from every pint you drink will benefit the Camp Fire Relief Fund.
Resilience IPA is brewed with Caramel malt plus Cascade and Centennial hops, ringing in at 6.7% ABV and 70 IBUs. It’s a classic American IPA that we are proud to pour. Keep an eye out for our official release date in late December.
