Purveying an infectious mix of reggae, jazz, and ska, The Skruffians are a Minneapolis-based instrumental collective that celebrates the classic sounds of 60’s Jamaica. Inspired by The Skatalites, the legendary Studio One group that backed The Wailers, The Maytals, Prince Buster, and countless other early Jamaican artists, The Skruffians’ island grooves and bebop horns brings to mind balmy evenings with a cold drink and good friends. It's the musical equivalent of sunshine.
