Inbound BrewCo is closed on Sunday December 6 until further notice in order to deep clean our space and allow our staff time to get tested for COVID-19.
We were notified early last week that a member of our staff was exposed to a person who was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Upon that notification, we required that the employee stay home for a 14 day quarantine as recommended by the CDC. This morning, we received notification of a positive COVID-19 result for that asymptomatic staff member.
Because of our serious early precautions, it is unlikely that the employee was working while contagious. Regardless, we are closing our taproom and brewery so we have the opportunity to clean the space and connect with our staff. All staff who were recently exposed to this employee, despite extremely low risk of them being contagious, will be getting tested. We will reopen when it is safe for our staff and public to do so!
Over the last 9 months, we have been extremely diligent in our COVID-19 safety practices and precautions, and we will continue to do so. Our customers and our staff have been fantastic at adhering to CDC and MDH guidelines, and for that we will always be grateful. While exposure from external parties cannot be controlled for, we are grateful that our team—both staff and patrons—have ensured that no positive cases have originated from our brewery.
