A smooth and chocolatey milk stout encounters the richness of golden peanut butter. Prepare to be torn between drinking all this beer at once and hoarding it like a squirrel stashing acorns. 5.4% ABV // 25 IBUs
Behind the Beginnings
We first released the beer now known as Contains Nuts for our anniversary party in April 2018. It returned in limited crowler runs a couple times after that, then it debuted in seasonal cans for the first time in January 2019. It returned for the second seasonal release in October 2019.
Behind the Flavors
You probably fell in love with this beer for its real roasted peanut flavors. The real workhorses, though, are behind the scenes. A combination of lactose and vanilla subtly sweeten this beer and add a creamy characteristic that makes for a beautiful pour.
Behind the Name
Yeah yeah, it’s a legume, not a nut. It’s also levi-O-sa, not levi-o-SA, but nobody likes a teacher’s pet. This Peanut Butter Milk Stout is named for the popular warning label and has a big ol’ peanut on the front to clear up any confusion.
