In honor of Mother’s Day and the tentative arrival of Spring, we’re releasing a fruity fresh twist on our Petal Pounder: Hibiscus Saison.
The Hibiscus Saison is a unique brew, starting with an earthy, lightly fruity farmhouse style ale for the base. It’s then dry hopped with a whole bunch of real hibiscus flower petals and a touch of tropical, citrusy Citra hops. The hibiscus expresses in a bright magenta coloring and a light floral, cranberry flavor.
Finally, we add a whole bunch of juicy mango to round out this fresh seasonal. The fruitiness is tempered by the light-bodied, dry saison base, leaving you with an all-day sipper.
Try it in the taproom starting Sunday, May 12 on happy hour all day long! In the spirit of hibiscus petals, we’re also bringing in Meadow Sweet Pedal flower cart from 1-4pm.
