The public art scene in Minneapolis just got a whole lot bigger. Inbound BrewCo is proud to unveil a new mural on the front of our taproom at 701 N 5th Street, designed and painted by our very own Lindsey Saunders.
When Saunders first joined our bartending team in 2018, you probably got to know her as an exceptional human and a friendly face behind the bar. You probably didn’t find out, though, that she is a skilled artist. Her paintings combine realism with an abstract and mystical quality that results from adding drips and unexpected perspectives that play with the mind.
We are thrilled to be the site of Saunders’ first ever large-scale mural work. The piece, spanning the front wall of our building, is Saunders’ bold and colorful interpretation of a brewing system. She drew inspiration from the colors in our can artwork (designed by Aesthetic Apparatus) as well as from Eduardo Kobra, the muralist behind downtown Minneapolis’ iconic Bob Dylan mural, which is visible from Inbound’s taproom.
